Easy Banana Breakfast


If you eat breakfast, you need to eat this, because who doesn't eat breakfast?! And who doesn't like bananas! Breaking the fast is literally the best way to kick start your metabolism in the morning. To keep you going, keep using up your consumed energy, you should try to eat or at least drink within 30 minutes of waking up. Banana's are high in natural fibres, sugars and antioxidants. The usual benefits we blog about, aiding weight loss of course, lowering blood pressure, helps increase the production of white blood cells. White blood cells are cells of the immune system, you want to look after these guys, they're security. Protecting you against the big ones cancer, strokes and heart attacks bananas will also keep you regular, ladies ;) A banana is as little as 89kcal and just swapping one sugary snack a day for fruit will give you notable weight loss in 6-8 weeks. Slow but steady. My favourite fact of the ever loved banana is the tryptophan. You'll be shocked at what this stuff does, or has the power to do. The amino acid, once consumed is converted into serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter in the brain that signals happiness. Talk about a natural high?! You can literally eat happiness and I bet that's the best thing you've read all day. Your welcome.

Easy Banana Breakfast

Delicious, fast breakfast. Eggs + Bananas! For gluten free remove the flour, it's not 100% necessary. Just a little easier to combine and hold all ingredients.

Cook time: 5 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes

Yield: 4-5
Calories per serving: 302

  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
Cooking Directions
  1. Slice 1/2 a banana for garnishing.
  2. In a bowl, mash up the remaining peeled bananas. Press down with a fork until it forms a paste.
  3. Crack in 1 egg at a time to the mix, while stirring to prevent them from splitting.
  4. Add the sugar (very ripe bananas wont need it) flour and cinnamon.
  5. Once all combined, fry like a normal pancake on medium heat in a slightly buttered pan. Until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with what ever fruit you like! If your feeling crazy, add a little maple syrup or vanilla extract.

  1. Easy recipe to follow and I'm sure that our gluten free friends can just switch out the flour for some gluten free pancake flour and they will be able to enjoy them as well. With all the bananas we have here in Mexico I will be trying these within the next day or so. I would leave the sugar out because I will be using natural Honey for a topping...thanks for sharing
