Today I manned up and got a hair cut. I've been afraid of going to salons for a long time, it's a trust thing I guess, or maybe since I went so infrequently. Mum always used to do my hair, love you mum! But I felt like this time I would just go and see what it's like. Fingers crossed, it might actually be okay! She did a great job and put an intense conditioner on me too! It's amazing, I haven't stopped running my fingers through my hair ALL DAY. I got straight home and curled it up, I couldn't handle the straightness hahaha. Volume addict. I wondered into town with Kristine and did a spot of shopping before a treat at Wahaca with the Lucai. A cheeky glass of red in the sun, since this was another awesome day.
Chili Quesadella |
We ordered from the street food menu, you just can't beat good street food. Lucas got chili quesadillas, but I was too slow to try those haha. I opted for the plantain taco's . Definitely my Wahaca favourite. It's like a mash of Caribbean and Mexican, and you have to add that Habenero sauce. Make it hot, yes! Topped with feta cheese it's a gooey yet crispy, caramelly taco mess. Service was great as always, very friendly yet genuine staff.
Look at the shine! :O
